Job Description:
The Position Novo Nordisk is seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Advisor to take charge of handling and approving deviations/change requests within quality, safety, and regulatory processes. This role will actively participate in audits and inspections, serving as a “Quality Advisor.” As a process Quality Assurance (QA) delegate, you will perform QA activities according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), review changes to the Quality Management System (QMS), approve QC documents, and lead QMS improvement initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in fostering end-to-end quality thinking and contributing to solutions that balance simplicity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance/advisor (as applicable) in the Content Control Process for the Line of Business.
- Support QMS changes by coordinating and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Novo Nordisk QMS and relevant external requirements to provide guidance to process owners and other stakeholders, setting the direction for subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Propose changes/improvements, substantiate them with business cases, quantify benefits, and facilitate effective communication.
- Stay updated on developments within cGxP (current Good Practice) and QA (Quality Assurance) through active participation in internal and external networks.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Graduate/post-graduate degree or equivalent professional experience in science.
- Work Experience: 12+ years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical quality management systems, including GxP requirements and ISO13485.
- Strong command of good documentation practices.
- Cross-organizational collaboration experience.
- Familiarity with cLEAN (Continuous LEAN) principles and relevant tools.
- Audit and inspection participation and compliance gap analysis.
- Project management experience is a valuable asset.
- Excellent knowledge of core pharma GXP requirements (GLP, GMP, and GCP) and internal requirements for maintaining compliance.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
