Department/ Role/Qualification/Experience: Regarding the job opening, it seems like Medanta is looking for candidates who have an M.Pharma or a Ph.D./Doctorate in Pharmacy, along with 0-3+ years of experience, to join their Clinical Pharmacy department as Junior Clinical Pharmacists.
Job description :
Roles and Responsibilities
- Before Administration, Medication review and clinical audits on the floor.
- Dispensing medication as per the prescription and ensuring the right medication and dose are given to patients.
- Transcribing and indenting drug and non-drug orders.
- Receiving medication from the pharmacy and tracking it.
- Auditing in-patient orders for drug name, strength, formulation, dosage, and duration of therapy. Checking for therapeutic duplication and possible drug interactions.
- Checking medication administration records in the ward and rectifying any medication errors observed.
- Checking the patient record at the ward/ICU for clarification and discussing with Clinical Pharmacologist as needed.
- Informing the concerned doctor in case any non-formulary drugs are indented and substituting with drugs given in the formulary.
- Checking drugs in impress stock, crash cart, disaster kits, and ambulance regularly.
- Documenting restricted antibiotics and reporting it to the Clinical Pharmacologist.
- Monitoring adverse drug reactions.
- Serving as a drug information resource.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
Pharm D. or M. Pharm (Pharmacology & Pharmacy Practice) (Fresher or Experienced)
The job location is in Gurgaon, so candidates should be prepared to work in this area.
The interview will be conducted from 26th April to 3rd May between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The venue for the interview is the HR Department located on the Lower Ground Floor of Medanta The Medicity, which is situated in Sector 38 of Gurgaon.
