Opportunity for Pharmacist at District Health & Family Welfare Samiti

Jalpaiguri District is inviting online applications for various posts under XV-FC HG, NHM, NUHM & AYUSH programmes on a contractual/temporary basis. The online application process will start from 12.05.2023 at 10:00 AM and will end on 26.05.2023 at 11:59 PM for Jalpaiguri District.

The Jalpaiguri District is looking to fill one position of Pharmacist (NUHM) on a contractual/temporary basis for which online applications are being invited. Below are the eligibility criteria and other important details related to the position:

1. Essential Criteria: The candidate must have a 2-year Diploma in pharmacy (D-Pharma) (Allopathic) recognized by the Govt, of West Bengal and should be registered as an ‘A’ category Pharmacist under the West Bengal Pharmacy Council. The candidate must also have proficiency in Bengali and be efficient in computers including MS Office & Internet. The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
2. Age: The candidate must be between 18 to 40 years of age as on 01.01.2023.
3. Remuneration: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 22000/- per month.
4. Place of Posting: The selected candidate will be posted at UPHCs under Municipalities (Jalpaiguri or Dhupguri).
5. Selection Process: The selection process will be based on a total of 100 marks. The qualification of the candidate will be given a maximum of 85 marks (proportionate marking) with 65 marks for D-Pharma, 75 marks for B-Pharma, and 85 marks for M-Pharma. The remaining 15 marks will be for a computer test with a qualifying minimum of 50%.

6. Original &Self Attested Photo copy of Diploma / Certificate course in Computer Application (as per post criteria).

7. Original & Self Attested Photo copy of Registration Certificate of MBBS/ DNB/HMO/SAMO/UMO/GNM/B.Sc (Nursing)/ANM/DMLT/DLT.

8. Original &Self Attested Photo copy of Experience Certificate(Experience certificates must consist of Name of the post, Employer’s Name, Employee’s Name, Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Leaving (DOL) otherwise experience certificates will be treated as invalid).

9. Experience Certificate must be produce in the official Letter Pad of the organization/lnstitution/Laboratory with mentioning the Clinical Establishment (CE) Registration Number (CE Reg. no. require only for pvt. organization/institution) otherwise experience certificates will be treated as invalid.

10. Candidates working in Government Organization must route their application through proper channel if their departmental rules requires so and produce NOC at the time of Documents Verification.

11. Original &Self Attested Photo copy of Voter card / Aadhaar card / other address proof.

12. Attested (by the Gazette Officer or Gr-A Officer of State Government) Photocopy of Voter ID Card / Ration Card for the post of CHA only.

Important Information for the candidate

1. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen.

4. The benefits of upper age concession up to 5 years are admissible only to SC & ST Candidates of West Bengal and up to 3 years to OBC-A & OBC-B Candidates of West Bengal. SC, ST & OBC Candidates of other states may apply for UR vacancy as General Candidates.

5. In case OBC candidates category ‘A’ or “B” must be mentioned specifically in the caste certificate otherwise the candidate will be treated in “Unreserved” category.

6. One candidate may apply for multiple posts if he/ she is eligible.

7. Multiple applications for single post liable to cancellation of candidature.

8. Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications and work experience as mentioned in the notification before applying.
