Opportunities for Pharmacist Grade-I and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS – Pharmacy Attendant)

CCRAS invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment to the following Group “C” positions at various Institutes/Centres across India. All posts are temporary but likely to continue, and appointees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS).

🔬 Post 1: Pharmacist (Grade-I)

Group: ‘C’
Pay Scale: Level-5 in Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-1 ₹5200-20200 + GP ₹2800)
No. of Vacancies: 12 (01 SC, 02 ST – Backlog, 03 OBC, 01 EWS, 05 UR)
Maximum Age: Not exceeding 27 years

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) / D. Pharm. (Ay.) from a recognized University/Institution with two years of experience in a recognized Ayurvedic hospital
  OR

• Bachelor of Pharmacy in Ayurveda (B. Pharm. Ay.)

🧹 Post 2: Multi-Tasking Staff – Pharmacy Attendant

Group: ‘C’
Pay Scale: Level-1 in Pay Matrix ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Pre-revised PB-1 ₹5200-20200 + GP ₹1800)
No. of Vacancies: 05
Maximum Age: Not exceeding 27 years

Essential Qualifications:

• ITI Certificate or Vocational Training Certificate in the relevant discipline from a recognized/reputed institution
  OR

• Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board with one year of experience in the relevant discipline

📝 Selection Procedure

• Pharmacist Grade-I:
  Selection will be based on Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks.
  Syllabus Overview:

  1. Introduction to Ayurveda – 25 marks

  2. Applied aspects of Dravyaguna, Rasashastra & Pharmaceutical Sciences – 50 marks

  3. General Knowledge, IT, Communication – 25 marks
     Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwD)

• MTS – Pharmacy Attendant:
  CBT of 100 marks based on SSC MTS syllabus including:

  • General Awareness, Aptitude, Reasoning – 90 marks

  • IT Skills – 10 marks
    No negative marking
    Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwD)

Note: For all Group “C” posts, no interview will be conducted.

• Ensure the application is completed in English language only.

💰 Application Fee

Mode of Payment: Online only through SBI e-Pay, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Note: Separate fee for each post if applying for multiple.

🏢 Cities of Examination

Exams will be conducted in major cities across India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Lucknow, Bhopal, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and others.
CCRAS reserves the right to modify examination centers.

📌 General Instructions

• All applicants must fulfill eligibility criteria as of the closing date of applications.

• Candidates must possess valid identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.) at the time of CBT.

• Biometric data will be captured during examination and document verification.

• Posts carry all-India transfer liability across CCRAS Institutes.

• Candidates already in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification.

• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD certificates must be in prescribed Central Government format.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Selection is purely merit-based. Mere eligibility does not guarantee selection.

• No TA/DA will be paid for CBT.

• Candidates are advised to check https://ccras.nic.in regularly for updates.

• Disputes, if any, will fall under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
