Opportunity for Pharmacists under Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme

ECHS Central Organisation is located in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The organization is led by the Managing Director, ECHS, who is a serving Major General. Additionally, there are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics.

It is also interesting to note that the ECHS is an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), along with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB). This indicates that the ECHS works closely with other government organizations to provide support and services to ex-servicemen and their families.

ECHS is seeking to fill vacancies for Medical, Para Medical, and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis for a period of one year, renewable for an additional year, subject to performance and other conditions.

No. of Positions: It appears that there are two Pharmacist positions available, with one position located in Devlali and the other in Dhule.

Minimum Qualification :

The candidates applying for the Pharmacist positions must have a B. Pharma degree or 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from a recognized Board, an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, and be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of three years of work experience.

Fixed Remuneration : It is also stated that the fixed remuneration for this position is Rs. 28,100/-.

last date of application: The last date of receipt of application in the requisite format, along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting education qualifications and work experience, is 02 Mar 2023. Any application received after this date will not be accepted.

The interview for the Pharmacist positions will be conducted on 10 Mar 2023 at 1100 hrs at Station Headquarters, Devlali. Candidates who are called for an interview should bring their original certificates and degrees, photocopies of testimonials, and experience certificates as applicable at the time of the interview.

It is important to note that only those individuals who fulfill all the requisite criteria will be called for an interview, and no TA/DA is admissible. Additionally, only candidates who meet the Qualitative Requirement may apply for the Pharmacist positions at ECHS.
