Job Title: Jr. Executive QC

Job Description: The Jr. Executive QC will be responsible for various aspects of Quality Control in a pharmaceutical environment. This includes sample storage and management for both finished drug products (FDF) and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The role involves conducting analytical testing and documentation of drug product, finished product, complaints, stability, and packaging material samples in accordance with GxP (Good x Practice) standards. Stability testing, sample storage, and management are important components of the job. Additionally, the Jr. Executive QC will be involved in analytical documentation of stability samples following GxP standards, as well as Analytical Method Validation & Transfer.

The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Quality Control supervisor and assist in maintaining the efficiency of the Quality Control Laboratory. This involves conducting QC analysis, ensuring good documentation practices, and adhering to quality control systems. Proper record-keeping, maintaining raw data, and log books as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are essential responsibilities. The candidate must prioritize confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of company documents and materials. Flexibility is required to carry out any other tasks assigned for the company’s operations, following the latest quality standards and Novartis Corporate Guidelines.

Data Integrity, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), GDP (Good Documentation Practice), ALCOA (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate), and ALCOA+ Principle adherence at the workplace is a critical aspect of this role.

The Jr. Executive QC will be expected to carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or manager as needed.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemicals or M.Pharm from a reputable university.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Quality function within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Skills: The candidate should possess sound technical and scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical or chemical analytics, QC, and laboratory environment experience. Knowledge of Laboratory Excellence and Quality Control (QC) Testing is desirable.
