The Opportunity:
As a Manager in Pharmacovigilance (PV) at Teva, you will provide oversight and direction for PV operations case handling activities within the EMIA/APAC Regional PV Operations Hub, based in India. Your role will ensure compliance with all Health Authority requirements, regulations, and Teva’s global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee PV operations in the EMIA/APAC Regional Hub to ensure timely, high-quality completion of activities such as case intake, triage, data entry, and submission oversight.
- Manage the process of collecting, assessing, and reporting adverse events, with potential on-site managerial support for other regions as needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with worldwide regulatory requirements and Global PV standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to drive operational excellence and compliance.
- Act as a backup for direct reports and the Regional PV Operational Manager during absences.
Job Description:
- Provide direction and supervision to the EMIA/APAC Regional Hub team and act as a backup for the NA/LATAM Hubs’ PV Operational Manager.
- Ensure all pharmacovigilance activities meet the requirements of Health Authorities in the EMIA/APAC region and other applicable global regulations.
- Offer ongoing advice, guidance, and performance appraisals to department personnel.
- Oversee the selection and development of personnel within the EMIA/APAC Regional PV Operations Hub.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual Work Plan budget and ensure work is completed within budget.
- Ensure accurate reports and records are created, maintained, and submitted to applicable Health Authorities for all adverse drug events/reactions.
- Support the training and development of EMIA/APAC Regional employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools to perform their job.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare or Life Sciences.
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in people management within the pharma industry.
