Job Overview
As a Regional Medical Lead, you will play a key role in driving the medical strategy at the regional level, aligning global and local objectives to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, clinical insight, and leadership in shaping the medical and scientific landscape of assigned therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute local medical strategies in line with global and franchise goals

Identify key strategic drivers to influence patient journey and stakeholder interactions

Co-develop and manage integrated evidence plans across the product lifecycle
-
Support real-world evidence (RWE) generation and novel clinical study designs
-
Provide scientific leadership on pipeline and marketed products
-
Partner cross-functionally to ensure compliant medical and promotional activities
-
Represent Novartis in scientific forums, conferences, and external meetings
-
Oversee training programs, regulatory submissions, and external funding initiatives
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
-
Advanced degree in health sciences (MBBS, MD, BDS, PhD, or PharmD)

1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Core Skills & Attributes:
-
Strong background in clinical research and good understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
-
Ability to translate complex scientific knowledge into strategic action plans
-
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
-
Strong planning, organizational, and scientific writing skills
-
Fluency in English; local language proficiency is an advantage
Desirable Experience
-
Experience with real-world evidence (RWE) and innovative study designs

Demonstrated success in co-creating and executing studies in collaboration with healthcare stakeholders
