Job Opportunity: Team Lead – Purification (ADC: Antibody-drug conjugates)
Job Summary
Join our team as a Team Lead in Purification, specializing in Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this role, you’ll spearhead the development of downstream processes for Biosimilar Molecules, including ADCs, meeting functional requirements, and facilitating the scaling-up and transfer of processes to manufacturing. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and executing multiple process development projects, alongside initiating new technology initiatives within the downstream development group.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and supervise studies related to purification processes.
- Efficiently plan and manage resources for execution, integrating information across functions to establish purification processes.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer supporting product progression throughout its lifecycle.
- Collate, analyze, and interpret experimental data, generating technical presentations.
- Write planning and execution documents, review reports, draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and compile data.
- Coordinate with team members for equipment and inventory maintenance, organize lab meetings, and supervise to ensure SOP adherence.
Candidate Profile
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E./M.Pharm.) in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum Work Experience: Ph.D. with 4-6+ years or M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. with 8-10+ years of relevant industrial experience.
Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of Process Development and Industrial perspective of Biotherapeutics/Biosimilars.
- In-depth knowledge of purification process development.
- Basic understanding of analytical techniques, statistical analysis, and data management.
