About ECHS

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organization, headquartered in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W at Army HQ. Led by a serving Major General as Managing Director, ECHS oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics across India. It functions as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), along with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Position Overview

ECHS invites applications for the role of Pharmacist on a contractual basis for a period of one year at ECHS Polyclinics in Panaji and Sindhudurg. The contract may be extended for an additional year or until the candidate attains the maximum permissible age, subject to performance and organizational requirements.

  • Salary: ₹28,100/- per month

  • Contract Period: 1 year (renewable as per policy)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute
    OR

  • 10th/12th with Science from a recognized board and a Diploma in Pharmacy approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

Other Requirements

  • Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.

  • Candidates should submit their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications and work experience certificates.

  • Applications must be submitted in duplicate to Stn HQs ECHS Cell, Panaji by 28 August 2025, 1400 hrs.

  • Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Interview Details

  • Date & Time: 04 September 2025 (Report at 0900 hrs; Interviews between 1000–1400 hrs)

  • Venue: ECHS Cell, Station HQ Panaji, S.V. Road, Near Panaji Police Station, Goa.

  • Candidates must bring original certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation/Post-Graduation/Diploma), service records, PPO, discharge book, work experience proofs, and two recent passport-size photographs.

  • No TA/DA will be provided.

  • Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be considered.
