Empanelment of Pharmacists at LTMG Hospital – Purely Temporary Appointment for 11 Months

Located in Mumbai, this institution is a prominent public healthcare and medical education facility managed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). It provides a wide range of medical services and houses departments offering undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, along with specialized healthcare services.

Position Details

• Post: Pharmacist

• No. of Vacancies: 14

• Remuneration: ₹20,000/- per month (consolidated)

• Age Limit: 18 to 38 years

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Diploma in Pharmacy from State Board of Technical Education OR Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.

2. Must be a registered Pharmacist with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.

Additional Requirements

1. Must have passed SSC or higher exam with minimum 50 marks in Marathi language paper.

2. Must possess any one of the following computer proficiency certifications:

   • CCC / O Level / A Level / B Level / C Level from DOEACC

   • MSCIT

   • GECT certificate

   • Or, must complete MSCIT within one year of appointment (if not already certified).

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on merit (academic performance) and marks obtained in the interview.

• Interview date and venue will be shared via email to eligible candidates two days in advance.

Terms of Engagement

• Appointment is purely on a contractual basis for 11 months.

• No right to permanent employment or regularization.

• Service break of 1 day after every 90 days of service.

• Entitled to weekly offs and 15 casual leaves annually.

• Biometric attendance is mandatory; LWP will apply for absences.

• The appointed Pharmacist must be ready to work in three shifts and in any department of the hospital.

• Background verification through local police station will be conducted before appointment.

• Any disciplinary misconduct or submission of false information will lead to immediate termination.

• A contractual agreement of ₹500 on stamp paper will be executed at the time of joining.

• BMC has not authorized any person or agency to collect applications or fees on its behalf.
