About AIIMS Deoghar
AIIMS Deoghar is a prominent healthcare institution established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Its primary objective is to address regional disparities in the provision of high-quality tertiary-level healthcare in underserved areas of the country. Furthermore, it aims to promote self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training.
These institutions are founded through an Act of Parliament and are modeled after the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Like the Delhi AIIMS, these establishments offer comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate medical education across various branches and related fields. The goal is to enhance healthcare infrastructure, medical education, and research capabilities in these underserved areas, ultimately improving the healthcare landscape in India.

- Pay Level 7th CPC: Level-5
- Pay Scale: Rs. 29,200-92,300
Eligibility and Age Criteria
- Age Limit: 21-27 years
- Essential Qualification:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution
- Registered Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act 1948
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in manufacture/storage/testing of transfusion fluids in a reputed hospital or industry
Age Relaxation at AIIMS Deoghar
- Age relaxation for various categories
- SC/ST: 5 Years (only for posts reserved for SC/ST)
- OBC-NCL: 3 Years (only for posts reserved for OBC-NCL)
- PwBD: 10 Years (with not less than 40% specified disability, not exceeding 56 years)
- Government Servant: 5 Years
- Ex-Serviceman: 5 Years
- Cumulative age-relaxation for candidates in SC/ST/OBC category also eligible under Ex-Servicemen or PwBD categories
