Position: Pharmacist
No. of Posts: 11 (UR-6, OBC (NCL)-2, SC-1, EWS-1, PwBD-1)
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients as per the prescriptions.
- Maintain up-to-date records of prescriptions and medications dispensed.
- Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Act of 1948 and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Must register with the Delhi Pharmacy Council within six months of joining.
Experience:
No prior experience required.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit is 27 years.
Remuneration:
Rs. 43,800/- per month (Consolidated). No additional allowances are provided.
Contract Details:
- Duration: The initial contract period is six months or until the end of the agreement, whichever is earlier.
- Terms: The engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee any claim to regular employment at Indira Gandhi Hospital or TCIL.
- Termination: The contract may be terminated by either party with a one-month notice period.
Entitlements:
- Leave: 1 day per month, with a maximum of 12 days per year (accumulation up to 3 days allowed).
- Maternity Leave: Female employees are entitled to benefits as per the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
- Accommodation: Not provided by Indira Gandhi Hospital or TCIL.
- Working Hours: As per the hospital’s schedule, including shifts and possible weekend duties.
Conduct and Evaluation:
- Contractual employees are expected to adhere to the same code of conduct as government employees.
- Performance will be evaluated quarterly.
