Madurai Corporation, also known as the Madurai City Municipal Corporation, is the civic body responsible for governing and managing the city of Madurai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It plays a vital role in providing various essential public services to the residents of Madurai, such as water supply, sewage management, waste disposal, urban planning, and maintenance of public infrastructure.

The Madurai Corporation is headed by a Mayor who is elected by the members of the Corporation Council. The Council consists of elected representatives from various wards within the city. The Corporation is responsible for ensuring the overall development and welfare of the city and its residents. It collects property taxes, issues birth and death certificates, and undertakes various development projects to improve the quality of life in Madurai.

Pharmacist Position – 9 Openings

Job Details:

Qualifications Required at Madurai Corporation:

    1. Diploma in Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy.
    1. Must be registered with the Tamilnadu Pharmacy Council and maintain an active registration through yearly renewals.
  • Salary: Rs. 13,000 per month

  • Completed applications must be submitted to the District Welfare Society Office, along with copies of the following documents, by 5:45 PM on 15th November 2023:
    1. Educational Qualification Certificate and Marks Certificate
    2. Certificate of Occupancy
    3. Special qualification certificate and other certificates.
