Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Master’s / Integrated Master’s degree in Natural, Agricultural, or Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc / Animal Sciences
  OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university

• Equivalent qualifications as recognized by relevant authorities will also be considered.

Desirable Qualification

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or General Chemistry.

• Preference for candidates with research experience in Organic or Total Synthesis from reputed institutes or industries.

Age Limit

• Maximum: 35 years

• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Women, 3 years for OBC.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multi-step organic synthesis at scales ranging from small to large.

Salary & Benefits

• ₹31,000 + HRA: For candidates qualifying CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or equivalent national-level examinations.

• ₹25,000 + HRA: For candidates not meeting the above criteria.

Tenure

• Initial engagement for 6 months, extendable based on project needs and performance.

• Purely temporary appointment; does not confer any claim for regular CSIR/NCL positions.
