Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for various contractual posts under the “Adult and Pediatric Hematolymphoid Unit” at Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati. All appointments are purely temporary and may be extended up to a maximum of three years, based on performance and project requirements.

🧪 Post: Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Radiodiagnosis)

• Number of Posts: 02 (Female only)

• Salary: ₹42,480/- per month (consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (Relaxable for experienced and deserving candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Technology with at least 50% marks, OR

  • B.Sc. in any subject / B.Pharm with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized board.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in CT and MRI operations in a large hospital setup.

• Number of Posts: 01

• Salary: ₹81,240/- per month (consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (Relaxable for experienced and deserving candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Science OR M.Sc.

  • Diploma/Degree in Quality Management (desirable)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience

  • Strong understanding of quality systems (NABL, NABH, ISO/IEC 15189, CAP), audits, and lab accreditations

🧫 Post: Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Microbiology)

• Number of Posts: 01

• Salary: ₹67,320/- per month (consolidated)

• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxable for experienced and deserving candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • M.Sc. in Microbiology and

  • Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognized university

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in an institutional clinical microbiology department
