Post: Associate Scientist
Job Description:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for meeting quality, quantity, and timeline expectations in all assigned projects. Key accountabilities include planning, organizing, performing, and documenting scientific experiments or plant activities. You’ll collaborate with experienced team members as needed and seek support and coaching when necessary. Additionally, you’ll contribute to project-related scientific and technical activities under minimal guidance, provide efficient processes for manufacturing or specialized facilities, and optimize existing methods while developing more efficient ones. Adherence to Sandoz standards, including quality, ethical, health, safety, environment, and information security, is essential. You’ll also review and verify raw data, perform maintenance and qualification of instruments/equipment, and actively maintain laboratory inventory.
Key Performance Indicators:
Successful execution of assigned tasks within given timelines and expected quality, adherence to appropriate standards, reproducibility of experiments and results, and compliance with rules and guidelines. Feedback from relevant stakeholders will also be considered.
Candidate Profile:
Candidates should possess strong skills in collaborating across boundaries, operations management, environment, health and safety, laboratory equipment, manufacturing processes, materials science, process simulation, and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
