Post: Medical Writer I (Medical Information)
Job Description:
- Accurate Responses: Provide up-to-date, accurate, and timely written responses to unsolicited inquiries in collaboration with category medical, incorporating literature search skills and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Literature Review: Stay updated with published medical literature related to the product line/therapeutic area. Develop strategies and initiatives to implement best practices in medical information within GMI, enhancing services to internal and external customers.
- Evidence-Based Responses: Offer evidence-based responses to medical inquiries, especially those related to efficacy and safety, in consultation with category medical. Utilize literature search skills and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Label Updates: Update existing responses as per label changes when necessary.
- Database Management: Work on different databases simultaneously to streamline information.
- Tracker Maintenance: Maintain and update the tracker on a daily basis.
- Global Guidance Documents: Prepare “Global Guidance Documents” in response to frequent queries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in cross-functional meetings.
- Business Updates: Present business updates on a quarterly basis.
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the Medical Information field is preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office platforms.
• Experience in medical content generation is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to integrate, interpret, and summarize data from various sources clearly and concisely.
• Prioritize workload effectively with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge/experience with OTC products is useful.
• Adherence to timelines and goal-oriented.
• Good team player with a demonstrated team spirit.
