Job Role Overview
As a Medical Representative (Territory/Therapy Business Manager), you will drive the sales and growth of Abbott’s leading healthcare products in your assigned territory. This includes implementing strategic sales plans, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring Abbott’s product presence in the market. You will also be pivotal in managing distributor networks to achieve financial targets, making this role critical to the division’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Area Business Planning

  • Develop monthly and quarterly sales plans.
  • Create demand generation strategies and ensure timely product fulfillment.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet targets.
  • Conduct prescription audits for both Abbott and competitor products.
  • Build and maintain a customer database of doctors and chemists in line with product needs.

2. Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly) by promoting Abbott products to healthcare professionals and chemists.
  • Conduct scientifically informed discussions with doctors and chemists about Abbott’s products.
  • Organize and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) camps.
  • Drive successful product launches by identifying and engaging key customers.
  • Execute customer management plans, ensuring regular interactions and meeting KPI targets.

3. Brand Management

  • Enhance the visibility of Abbott’s products at retail outlets.
  • Plan and attend retail meetings and market blitz initiatives to promote sales growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Fresh graduates with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Any Science Graduate (B.Pharm, M.Sc, B.Sc).
  • Candidates with a passion for sales in the healthcare and pharma sector are encouraged to apply.
