Organization Overview

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organization, functioning under the Ministry of Defence, operates through 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics across India. The organization provides quality medical care to ex-servicemen and their dependents and is administered by a serving Major General at its Central Headquarters in Delhi.

Job Title: Pharmacist (Contractual Basis)

Number of Posts: 02
Location: ECHS Polyclinics at Patiala (01) and Samana (01)
Duration: 1 year (renewable based on performance or until the candidate reaches the age limit)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• Option 1: B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute
  OR

• Option 2:

  • 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized board

  • Approved Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India

  • Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in a relevant role

Preferred: Ex-Servicemen candidates will be given preference

Remuneration

• Fixed Monthly Salary: ₹28,100/-

Interview Details

• Tentative Interview Date: 23 July 2025

• Reporting Time: 08:45 AM

• Interview Time: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM

• Venue: ECHS Cell, Station HQ, Patiala

Candidates must bring original documents including qualification, experience, valid registration, medical fitness certificate (signed by CMO/SEMO), and two passport-sized photographs.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
