About ECHS
The ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) Central Organisation is situated in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG (Adjutant General) and DGDC&W (Directorate General of the Department of Combat and Welfare) in the Army Headquarters. The central organization is led by the Managing Director, ECHS, who holds the rank of a serving Major General. There are a total of 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics.
ECHS functions as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), similar to the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Contractual Engagement at ECHS Polyclinic Dimapur
ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) invites applications for the engagement of Medical, Para Medical, and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic Dimapur. The contract period is one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, subject to the candidate’s performance and other conditions outlined for each post.
