Assam Agricultural University (AAU) was established on April 1, 1969, through the Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968. Position Details

  • Post: Skilled Worker (Pharmacist)

  • Engagement Type: Temporary (Daily Wage Basis)

  • Location: Medical Unit, AAU, Jorhat

  • Walk-in Interview Date: March 29, 2025

  • Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Venue: Office of the Registrar, AAU, Jorhat

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation or equivalent.

  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized government institute.

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacist is desirable.

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 18 years

  • Maximum: 40 years (as of January 1, 2025)

  • Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government norms.

Terms and Conditions of Engagement

  • The initial engagement will be for 11 months.

  • The position is purely temporary and does not guarantee further extension or re-engagement.

  • The University holds the right to terminate the engagement at any time without prior notice.

Remuneration

  • Daily Wage: ₹673.21/-

  • Monthly Salary: ₹20,196.35/- (subject to prevailing norms)

  • Along with the application, candidates should carry:

    • Original and self-attested photocopies of educational certificates.

    • One passport-sized photograph.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
