About Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC)

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Materiovigilance Associate under the Materiovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). This is a contractual position through an outsourced manpower agency.

IPC serves as the National Coordination Centre for both the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and MvPI, ensuring the safety and monitoring of drugs and medical devices in India.

Position Details

  • Post Name: Junior Pharmacovigilance Associate

  • No. of Vacancies: 07

  • Place of Posting: NCC-PvPI, IPC Ghaziabad or any Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) under PvPI

  • Mode of Recruitment: Through outsourcing manpower agency

  • Contract Duration: Up to 31st March 2026 (extendable based on performance)

  • Remuneration: ₹32,000/- per month (consolidated)

  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Research
      OR

    • Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized University/Institute

  • Desirable:

    • Minimum 1-year experience in Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance

Job Responsibilities

  • Processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) using Vigiflow/ADRMS

  • Performing quality, clinical, and statistical reviews of ICSRs in the safety database

  • Undertaking any other responsibilities as assigned by competent authority

  • Venue: Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad
