The company has obtained regulatory approvals from various organizations, including the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM), for its Unit-02 manufacturing operations.
Job Description:
Synthokem Labs Pvt. Ltd, Unit-II is seeking Production Chemists to join our team. The Production Chemists will be responsible for carrying out various production activities related to bulk drug manufacturing.
Qualification & Expereince: The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc/M.Sc degree in chemistry or a related field and have up to 4 years of experience in API & bulk drug manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various production activities such as synthesis, crystallization, filtration, drying, and packing of bulk drugs as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Operate and maintain the production equipment, instruments, and machinery
- Monitor and control the production process to ensure compliance with the quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Perform in-process quality checks and record the data accurately in the batch records
- Report and investigate any deviations, incidents, or accidents that occur during the production process
- Collaborate with other departments such as QA, QC, and engineering to ensure smooth production operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to the good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety regulations
- Follow the company policies and procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of the production processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field
- Up to 4 years of experience in API & bulk drug manufacturing
- Knowledge of the production process and equipment used in the bulk drug manufacturing
- Familiarity with the quality standards such as USFDA, EDQM, and other regulatory guidelines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Flexibility to work in shifts and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
