The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It serves as a premier institution for postgraduate, doctoral, and super-specialty fellowship programs in Ayurveda. AIIA functions as a referral hospital and a Centre of Excellence in education, research, and patient care while fostering international collaborations.

To support its Pharmacology Laboratory, AIIA invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview for the post of Laboratory Technician on a contractual basis.

Position Details

• Post: Laboratory Technician
• Number of Positions: 01
• Location: All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi
• Mode of Appointment: Contractual Basis through Walk-in Interview
• Remuneration: ₹25,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (as of the date of the interview)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• B.Pharm (Ayu)/ B.Pharm or B.Sc. (Chemistry/Biology) from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum one year of regular experience in Pharmacology and animal-related research work.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in the relevant field.
• Research experience in Herbal/Natural drugs/formulations.

General Instructions & Conditions

1. The position is purely contractual and temporary, with no claim for regular employment.
2. No additional allowance apart from the fixed remuneration will be provided.
3. Working hours will be as per AIIA regulations.
4. The selected candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the institute.
6. The number of vacancies may change based on the institute’s requirements.
7. Fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection; the final decision rests with the Competent Authority.
8. The selected candidate cannot engage in any other assignment during the contract period.
9. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before appearing for the interview.
10. The competent authority reserves the right to amend, cancel, or modify this advertisement without prior notice.
11. Candidates will be entitled to 1.5 days of leave per month; absences beyond this will lead to deductions in remuneration.
12. Applicable tax deductions will be made as per government norms.
13. Candidates must maintain the confidentiality of any data, research, or information obtained during their tenure.
14. At the end of the contract, candidates must handover all records related to their assignment.
15. Selected candidates must join within one week of receiving the offer.
16. Any updates regarding the interview schedule will be posted only on the official website.
